The Howard Network on Facebook

Has any1 tried 2 join the Howard network on Facebook? It requires the school email. Which email address do we use, specifically? I think they send a conformation email 2 that address 2 so U can't just make it up...bummer

bummers!!.........referring to who?, why do we need to have a facebook network with Howard if we got this and its on myspace as well, what ya trying to do ....divide the University from society.....cause thats a waste of time people barely check their mail on a regular basis. No, I didn't join and I don't think thats in my plans to do so.Its too many passwords for me to memorize.

WHOA!! Calm down!! Nobody is trying 2 divide anything. If u had a facebook U would know that joining a network doesn't divide U from society it rather helps U connect with others who may have similar interests as U. If U see it as a waste of time that's cool. U don't have 2 reply, join, or speak on it negatively. Some people have a facebook and some people have a myspace. Some people even have both! Regardless of whether U have either one, it gives U the opportunity 2 connect with other Howardites, make new friends, and get to know a great amount of people. Joining the Howard network on facebook is a way for Howardites to easily find one another and keep in touch when on the computer-therefore bringing the University closer rather than dividing it, as U so unfoundedly put it.

No!! I have all that, but what I'm saying is why do we have to join Howards network if we have this website,and I have it on myspace as well, but if someone need to contact each other why not use our own personal e-mail..."IF IT IS IMPORTANT"

Y not use your own personal e-mail?-because a great amount of people spend more time on facebook and myspace than they do checking their e-mail. IF IT IS IMPORTANT, it would b better 2 hit them up on either 1 of those sites because chances r they r more likely 2 check their messages on one of those sites before they check their e-mail. But like I said, it's on U. It's your prerogative whether or not U want 2 join the Howard network...but of course you have 2 have a facebook in order to do that & fully comprehend the point of this discussion.
